The ZipperFox 40 backpack with a volume of 40 liters belongs to the backbone of the current portfolio of the Polish backpack manufacturer Wisport. In this variant, you get a model with an improved, alternative arrangement of the interior space, which is designed in the 95 pattern, used by the Army of the Czech Republic.
With this backpack you can carry everything you need for one or two days in nature. Whether you are hiking, cycling or hunting, this backpack will be highly functional for you. In addition, it is extremely lightweight and has a durable construction.
Like other Wisport backpacks, the ZipperFox 40 uses a special SAS carrying system, which includes a removable, centrally located aluminum frame / belt. Its purpose is, among other things, to distribute the weight of the backpack more evenly on the back.
The ergonomically shaped straps of the backpack are sewn firmly, making the backpack more stable. All parts of the backpack that come into contact with the wearer's body are covered with AIR NET and/or AIR MESH mesh, which does not prevent air circulation and thus ensures better ventilation of the back and drainage of sweat and moisture, especially during longer hikes. The back panel of the backpack is also ergonomically shaped.
You can quickly throw the backpack off your back thanks to the plastic buckles and quick-release fasteners on the shoulder straps, chest strap and waist belt. This solution is referred to as the so-called quick release system.
The ZipperFox 40 backpack is compatible with a hydration bag – there is a special compartment for it on its back with a zipper closure. At the top there is an opening for a drinking tube, which is covered by a flap with a Velcro fastener. On the shoulder straps you will find UTX Flex holders for the drinking tube, which can be rotated by 360°.
This backpack is supplied with a practical waterproof raincoat that protects the backpack including its contents from moisture penetration in rain and snow. This raincoat is hidden in an easily accessible lower compartment. At the top of the back there is a strong fabric handle, which is useful when carrying the backpack by hand.
Compared to the standard variant, the internal arrangement of the backpack is different. The basis is the main pocket, which opens (except for the very bottom) almost all the way around, so you can get practical access to the internal equipment.
The main pocket is equipped with generous velcro panels at the front and back, mesh pockets on the sides, fastened with a zipper (for wet clothes, for example) and buckles for a better fit. In addition, it has a more practical opening, so that the internal equipment does not roll all over the place when you open it completely.
A pair of compression straps with plastic quick-release buckles on both sides of the backpack are used to adjust its volume, but also to attach other equipment that no longer fits in the backpack, or that we need to have at hand. This increases the carrying capacity of the backpack even further. On the front side of the backpack we find 4 "D" rings to which other equipment can be attached.
