VAR^® is a company, that was established in the Czech Republic during Socialism and their groundbreaking cooker has been known for several generations. It is simply timeless product that is still being sold as it was in the beginning. It is a legend on its own, that was first released in the 1980s. 

Number one for the mountaineers 

An original version VAR 1 was developed as a reaction on climbers needs. This variant served very well till 1994, when the new and innovated model VAR 2 was introduced. The first version was only meeting standards valid in the 1980s. In the mid 1990s this model became old and producers decided to innovate it. 

Almost three decades for VAR 2

VAR 2 is that perfect that it almost hasn´t changed since it was first launched. It is not only nostalgia for which VAR 2 is so popular, but also top-class VAR^® service. However, it is not often needed, because VAR 2 cookers usually serve very well for many years. Each VAR 2 cooker is tested according to safety standards for pressure and burning quality. The advantage is that the burner nozzle can be easily cleaned without need of any tools. 

With VAR 2 cooker, which weights only 110 grams, come also accessories, from different nozzles and gas cartridges to cookware holders or cutlery with carbines. And so called (flame) stabilizator protects the flame from wind that could extinguish it.
