The Tilak company from Šumperk is one of the last to produce its products in the Czech Republic. One of its brands is Tilak Military Gear, which Tilak focuses on members of the armed forces, but the individual products can also be used by civilians and outdoor enthusiasts. This also applies to the Jotun functional sweatshirt.
The main material of this functional sweatshirt is Polartec WindPro. This material has high mechanical resistance and is also wind resistant. Otherwise, the Jotun sweatshirt is very similar to the Femund model. The difference is only in two elements – Jotun does not have a hood and Femund uses Polartec Powerstretch material.
The Tilak Military Gear Jotun sweatshirt uses an anatomical cut that precisely follows the wearer's body. As a result, you can expect the maximum level of insulation and sweat wicking. The advantage is also the elastic fibers, which are in close contact with the base layer of the functional layering of the clothing, and thus wick sweat to the outside of the sweatshirt more quickly.
The individual fibers of the material used are of high quality, which increases their lifespan. Especially if we take into account the fact that during dynamic movement, the fibers of the fabric are stressed by constant stretching. The compact structure of the Polartec WindPro fabric provides up to four times more wind resistance than classic synthetic fleece. And in addition, these fibers return to their original state after stretching without damage and loss of technical properties.
