The Tasmanian Tiger Base Modular backpack is the perfect choice for longer camping trips, multi-day trips in the mountains, or as an evacuation backpack. It offers wide modular options and a comfortable back system.

Easy access and large volume

The backpack closes with a standard lid with two buckles on straps with adjustable length. However, the lid can also be completely detached and used separately. The capacity of the backpack can be easily increased thanks to the sliding lid and roll-up closure of the main compartment.

Durable material

The backpack is made of durable material that can withstand use even in the most demanding conditions. All the fabric, buckles, zippers and other components of the backpack have undergone the IRR (Infrared Reflective Treatment) process, which reduces the visibility of the user in the infrared spectrum.

Plenty of space and pockets

Thanks to the two-chamber design, you can practically divide its contents. In the lower chamber you can put wet clothes or things that you want to have within easy reach. A two-way zipper covered with a flap facilitates access to the contents at the bottom. There are handy pockets in the lid for small equipment components. The backpack is compatible with hydration systems and is equipped with a radio antenna output.

Amazing modularity

Panels with sewn loops of the MOLLE / PALS system allow you to attach other accessories or pouches. You can find them not only in the front and on the sides, but also on the lid, bottom of the backpack, or on the hip belt. On the two velcro panels on the front side, you can place patches or ID markings. The modular options of the backpack are complemented by flexible attachments for trekking poles or ice axes.

Comfortable to wear

The V2 back system consists of adjustable shoulder straps with a soft edge that reduces the risk of shoulder abrasions. The straps are wide and profiled so that the weight is evenly distributed. The V2 Plus system allows you to adjust the backpack to the height of the user. For increased comfort and better fixation, the backpack is equipped with a wide hip belt and a height-adjustable chest strap. The hip belt is also removable and can be used as a wide tactical (modular) belt with MOLLE / PALS loops.
