The container is made from a highly durable aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminium, which combines the durability of stainless steel and the light weight of titanium. Black model features type III hard anodizing, other colours feature type II anodizing. The lid features a rubber sealing on the inside to prevent the contents from getting wet. On the top, there is a velcro panel for your ID tag. After putting the lid on, you can secure it easily using the supplied velcro straps. In addition to its primary purpose, an emergency set container, this robust box may be used for a number of other survival functions. In emergency situations you can use it for melting snow, cooking, transporting water or digging to cover your fire pit.
