The set contains the Faststrike flint-and-steel, which you can use to start a fire even when completely wet and using other fire starting equipment is out of question. Faststrike is sturdy and works in the harshest of conditions. To make the fire starting even easier, the set contains two Fastfire tinders. In combination with the Faststrike fire starter you will have the fire going in a blink of an eye. In addition to the the Fastfire tinder the set also contains 4 tabs of waxed cotton tinder.

Everything in one place

In case you lost your ferro-sparking rod or ran out of tinder, and there was no dry wood around you, you can use 10 wind and water resistant matches; so you do not need to worry about going to bed soaking wet. In addition to the direct fire starting tools, the set also features 2 beeswax candles with 4+ hours of burning time each. They will give you a steady source of light for quite some time. All components are wrapped in a quality nylon bag, which protects the contents from getting wet and keeps everything together.
