SOG® Flare Folding Knife - satin, black handle

The Flare is a compact folding knife suitable for a wide range of users and can be clipped to the belt or to the edge of the pants pocket.

Handy helper

The 89mm long clip point blade is made of stainless steel 8Cr13MoV. A double-sided thorn helps the user when opening a knife. The knife is equipped with an assisted opening, a system that multiplies the force used to open the blade. Once we apply pressure to the opening thorn, we open the blade a little, and then the springs open it almost by themselves. The technology to open this knife was developed by SOG itself and is labelled SOG Assisted Technology. Once opened, the blade is secured with a simple safety pin against inadvertent closing of the knife at work. The slide control of the fuse mounted on the handle needs to be pulled back and then the knife can be closed. The handle is ergonomic and carries a rough anti-slip texture. The handle, strong>measuring approximately 114 mm, also indicates the size of the strong knife in the closed state. <>The ridges on the back of the handle form a supporting surface through which we can apply the necessary pressure on the blade when working and guide the knife with our thumb or forefinger. All the mentioned safety features, along with the excellent coating material and simple handle guard provide grip assurance and a safe knife work.

Banners and logos

The blade bears the word SOG FLARE, the textured word SOG on the handle at the back, and the same wording is even moulded onto the attachment clip. I know.
