Reflecting sunlight 

Helikon-Tex Signal Mirror is designed so that you can aim the sunlight reflected from it over long distances. With the standard signal mirror, reflecting light is simple, but only over short distances. At great distance, an ordinary mirror can not achieve such precision.  

Aim the light at greater distances 

Helikon-Tex Signal Mirror, unlike the ordinary mirrors, is equipped with a special hole that works like a collimator, so you can aim the reflected light at greater distances as well. In case of emergency, you can call for help with an SOS signal by aiming at a ship or plane.

It depends on the conditions 

The visibility of Helikon-Tex Signal Mirror (that is part of Heliko-Tex Bushcraft Line) naturally depends on the external conditions, such as sunlight, weather, and terrain, but in good conditions, the reflected light can be seen even from a distance of several kilometers.
