Salomon® X ALP MTN GTX Forces - black

Comfortable and safe footwear, which is an absolute must when performing any task. The French brand Salomon has a long tradition and experience. X ALP MTN GTX Forces are adapted for attaching climbing crampons, they are suitable for outdoor activities such as alpine hiking as well as for tactical tasks. The shoes allow fast movement without restrictions, even in more demanding terrain. The Forces series is intended for the armed forces or security agencies.

Firm, flexible, thoughtful

The upper part is made of abrasion-resistant Cordura, which prevents abrasion and a 1.5 mm thick Nubuck leather, which gives the foot comfort and protection by surrounding it. The shoe fits perfectly. Comfortable walking is ensured by the Hell Foam midsole, made of compressed and molded EVA foam, which absorbs shocks when walking and running. The rubberized toe cap with a 2.5 mm thick layer and is therefore extra resistant to hoeing and protects the foot and the shoe itself. The heel is also protected by a 1.5 mm thick rubber cap and a special protective strip. In addition, the shoes have a breathable Gore-Tex membrane. The ContaGrip rubber sole ensures excellent adhesion to the surface. The lacing is threaded through closed loops, so the shoes are safe for parachute jumps (open hooks can easily caught on the cords and cause complications or an accident) or for quick abseiling. One specially developed self-locking eyelet with locking the lace and fixing it in the desired position. Just tighten the shoes, pull the lace and the shoes will no longer loosen. To unlock the shoelace, pull it backwards. On the outside ankle there is a loop for easy putting on. The shoes provide comfort even in winter - they are insulated up to - 12 °C.
