Sabre Red Practice Flip-Top is a training spray designed for practicing the use of defense pepper sprays, and it expels an "active" (in this case, inert) substance in gel form. This spray lacks an active ingredient—it does not contain the active substance and therefore its use is without consequences. Furthermore, it features an intuitive safety lock (flip-top).
This spray, in which the inert substance is expelled in stream form, is completely safe to use. Although it should be emphasized, just like with other sprays, that the contained substance is still under pressure. Even so, using this spray during training will not pose any danger of leaving you teary-eyed and with red eyes. Capsaicin is only found in the sharp variants of the spray.
Defense sprays under the Sabre Red brand have been around since 1975. Some may have small sizes and weights, but they are very effective. Sabre Red sprays can save health or even life. Even in their sharp variant, the sprays are non-flammable and non-toxic. They can incapacitate the attacker for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, but they do not leave permanent consequences nor are they lethal.
