Rift Eyewear Magpul is characterized by bold lines combined with an effective eye protection that every shooter needs. However, the glasses are much more versatile, although they were originally designed for shooters.
Thanks to its versatility the Magpul Rift can be used not only at the shooting range but also elsewhere. You can simply use the same glasses for most activities. The Rift´s considerable frame coverage and increased temple height provides substantial side protection from light and debris, making them the perfect frame for brighter days on the water or at the range.
The frame is constructed of TR90NZZ material (sometimes also called Grilamid). This provides outstanding impact resistance, even at low temperatures. Lenses also meet high velocity impact protection and are ballistic rated to ANSI Z87+.
Rift Eyewear is comfortable enough to be worn all day. It is also thanks to the help of rubber overmolded nose pads that keep them securely in place no matter what you’re up to.
Rift glasses, that offer Polarized and Non-Polarized lens options, are designed to combine rugged strength and flexibility with maximum overall coverage in multiple environments. In addition to already mentioned impact resistance (even at low temperatures), the glasses are also chemical, UV and stress-crack resistant.
Magpul Rift premium features include Oleophobic treatment on lenses that repels water and provides oil, sweat, sunscreen and other chemical protection along with scratch resistance. Moreover, anti-reflective coating on inside of lenses minimizes distracting reflections.
Low profile temples make Rift compatible with helmets, communication headsets and over the ear hearing protection. Glasses Rift fits larger faces and we need to also mention coated stainless steel pins provide simple but dependable hinge functionality.
