OWB Frogy from the Czech manufacturer RH Holsters are external kydex holsters for concealed carrying of a weapon under clothing. Their advantage is that they take up minimum space on the belt while excellently concealing your weapon – and, of course, we must not forget the many innovative features.
Manually polished edges of the holster ensure maximum comfort for the user when carrying. The construction of the holster allows for comfortable and concealed carrying of a weapon under clothing. Thanks to its design, the holster does not take up too much space on the belt and protects the weapon well.
Thanks to a special pressure element, the gun is as close to the wearer's body as possible for a holster of this type. This element fills the space under the belt and rests against the thigh. As a result, it pushes everything above the belt towards the body better and more strongly.
OWB Frogy holsters feature a screw for automatic retention adjustment – so you can regulate the grip of the weapon, even for pistols equipped with a flashlight. Thanks to the open construction of the holster, you can also insert a weapon with an extended threaded barrel, compensator and even a reflex sight. This design also ensures convenient cleaning of the holster.
RH Holsters OWB Frogy are made from 2.5mm kydex, which increases their strength and durability, as does the ribbing. The holster material has a uniform color shade, and the shape of the holster is formed into the kydex using special molds of RH Holsters' own production.
These holsters allow for retention adjustment using adjustment screws. Each holster has an adjustable tilt of 0° forward or backward. You can tilt the holster's grip forward or backward by moving the front speedloops clip to different pre-drilled holes. Moreover, the gun is rotated towards the body in the Frogy holster – this ensures it adheres better, providing better concealed carrying.
The belt attachment is done using quick attach/remove metal speedloops, where the holster is attached directly to the belt without threading. For attaching, the belt needs to be a bit loosened and flexible. The loops can be used in combination with a belt up to 7mm thick. The width of the loops adapts to belts of 40, 45 or 50 mm.
OWB Frogy holsters are supplied by the manufacturer with a half sweatguard, which is most suitable for concealed carrying with external holsters. The sweatguard is generally the raised back side of the holster, separating the gun from the body. It acts as a protection against sweat and prevents clothing from getting into the holster when inserting the pistol.
