The American company Princeton Tec manufactures its helmet lights to be as versatile as possible. This is also the case with the Charge X model, of course made directly in the United States, which offers multiple lighting modes and colors, as well as two power options.
The light source used in the Princeton Tec Charge X flashlight is a high-performance white LED with a luminous flux of 100 lm, which is dimmable, but other lighting modes are also available thanks to secondary LEDs, including a red LED, green LED, blue LED and IR LED.
Thanks to its operation on a single AA battery (either disposable or rechargeable), this flashlight is very lightweight and at the same time durable, especially when it comes to extreme temperatures or water (it meets the IPX8 standard). The flashlight can operate for up to 50 hours on a single battery charge. The head of the flashlight is mounted on a gooseneck, allowing the light beam to be directed freely and flexibly.
Given the different colors of the integrated LEDs, this helmet light is very versatile. Its other benefits include a low profile, made possible by its operation on a single lithium CR123 battery or a single AA battery. On the helmet rail, the flashlight takes up minimal space, leaving plenty of room for additional accessories.
