The Charge MPLS flashlight from the American company Princeton Tec is intended for use in combination with a tactical helmet. It is compatible with various helmet mounting systems, but just like to a helmet, it can also be easily attached to a tactical vest. This makes it one of the most versatile helmet lights on the market.
The light source used in the Princeton Tec Charge MPLS flashlight is a high-performance white Maxbright LED diode with a luminous flux of 55 lm, which is dimmable, but other lighting modes are also available, thanks to the secondary LEDs, which include Ultrabright red LED, Ultrabright blue LED and IR LED.
Even thanks to operation on a single AA battery (either disposable or rechargeable), this flashlight is very light and at the same time durable, especially if we are talking about extreme temperatures. The flashlight can work for up to 46 hours on one battery charge. The head of the lamp is located on the gooseneck, thanks to which it is possible to direct the light cone freely and flexibly.
Due to the different colors of the integrated LEDs, this helmet light is very versatile. However, versatility is also ensured by various mounting options, from a standard nylon strap, which allows you to use the flashlight as a headlamp, via MOLLE/PALS attachment and Picatinny rail to ARC rails.
