The American company Magpul is probably the best-known manufacturer of high-quality aftermarket accessories and add-ons for firearms. And we can also talk about high-quality workmanship in the case of the MOE PR stock, which is a full-size carbine stock. It also combines the advantages of various solutions from Magpul's production.
The Magpul MOE PR carbine stock combines the best of both worlds. From its predecessor, the MOE Carbine Stock, it inherits simplicity, from the updated PRS Lite the design lines. Thanks to this, it can offer elements that we find in this lightweight variant of the PRS Gen 3 stock.
One of these elements is the rest on the front edge of the stock for the non-dominant hand. This allows the shooter to apply pressure towards the shoulder where the butt pad precisely, stably, and securely locks, resulting in safer shooting. The bottom part of the stock simultaneously serves as a rest for itself during shooting pauses.
The stock is further equipped with an angled cheek weld, increasing its ergonomics due to its low profile and user comfort. Additionally, there is a rubber butt pad with a non-slip finish, which protects against impact (including recoil) and serves as a buffer zone between the weapon and the shooter's shoulder. It also facilitates adjustment to the shooter's ballistic protection, including, for instance, plate carriers.
The weapon sling attachment to the stock is ensured by a bilateral M-LOK slot located at the rear of the stock. It functions as a footman’s loop or as an interface for attaching the M-LOK QD sling mount.
Another feature of this stock is its secure attachment. The release lever is ambidextrous and simultaneously covered, preventing accidental activation or snagging on clothing, including gloves. The stock is locked to the weapon by a premium chrome-silicon lock spring with positive locking and above-average longevity.
