The NexTorch UT41 multifunctional signal light has the advantage over some of the competition in that it is rechargeable, i.e. reusable. It is durable, handles omnidirectional signaling, does not need to be charged as often, and it also offers a total of 13 different modes and 6 light sources.
This signal light can be used in different ways and in different scenarios, such as night patrolling, group identification, rescue work on water and elsewhere or IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) to easily distinguish fellow fighters from the enemy. Use on water is facilitated by the waterproofness of the light, even when submerged to a depth of 2 meters.
The NexTorch UT41 signal light offers a total of 6 light sources: red, blue, yellow, green, white and infrared (IR) light. You can turn on all these sources as constant light, or use flashing (the light can also flash intermittently in red and blue). In total, there are 13 light modes available.
The light also offers various carrying options with easy attachment and removal. The stainless steel clip allows attachment to the MOLLE system or shoulder (and other) straps, the ARC mount adapter facilitates attachment to helmets equipped with this mount.
The integrated battery with a capacity of 500 mAh promises up to 113 hours of operation on a single charge. This goes from 0 to 100 in about 2 hours via the universal USB Type-C adapter. The battery level indicator then informs you when the light needs to be recharged.
Two buttons are available to control the signal light – with one you turn the light on and switch between modes (flashing – off – constant on). The second button is then used to select the light source or the color of the light.
