MSR® Elixir 1 backpacking tent

The lightweight backpacking tents of the MSR Elixir series in their innovative versions have approx. 35% larger vestibules and other elements, which we will talk about later and which, for example, facilitate the construction of the tent. Thanks to the generous floor plan, you can also place wide mats inside for more comfortable sleeping.

Innovation based on experience

Together with the new generation of Elixir tents, the manufacturer brought other innovations, based on the experience gained with previous models. The advantage is, for example, color-coded loops and rods for easier and more intuitive construction. Phosphorescent zipper pulls facilitate orientation at night. And a new thing is also a storage net pocket for mobile phones, documents and other valuables inside the tent.

Possibility of building without the inner tent

You can set up the MSR Elixir series camping tents as a free-standing canopy without the inner tent (a quarter lighter than a standard tent). D-shaped entrances allow easier entry and exit of the tent. Thanks to the entrance concept, maximum sleeping space is preserved inside the tent and at the same time sufficient storage space in the vestibule is ensured.

Simple ventilation

Thanks to the mesh windows of the inner tent, the tent is properly ventilated and plenty of fresh air gets into it, without having to be bothered by mosquitoes and other unpleasant insects. The MSR Elixir tent package also includes a floor.
