Magpul® Zhukov-U AK Handguard AK47/AK74

The Zhukov-U Handguard from Magpul is a replacement for the original Zhukov AK handguard, which is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) shorter, making it suitable for shorter rifles and Zhukov pistols. On longer rifles, the front section remains more open. The shorter version also allows the use of military cleaning rods.

Durability inherited from its bigger sibling

The durability and craftsmanship of the Zhukov-U handguard are inherited from the standard Zhukov, including a robust aluminium chassis. Strength and heat mitigation, great ergonomics, and the injection-molded exterior are other factors that bring the Zhukov-U closer to the standard Zhukov AK.

M-LOK slots for accessories

The Zhukov-U handguard features M-LOK slots for attaching accessories and is fully compatible with the UltiMAK rail. Its installation requires the removal of the handguard retainer. The Zhukov-U handguard is made in the United States.
