Magpul® PMAG drum magazine for Glock / 50 rounds, cal. 9×19 mm

The PMAG D-50 GL9 drum magazine from the renowned American manufacturer Magpul is a reliable 9×19mm Parabellum solution that is ideal for 9 mm Glock pistols (and their clones) designed for double-stack magazines. The capacity of the magazine is up to an incredible 50 rounds.

Proven concept

The Magpul PMAG D-50 GL9 magazine is based on the proven concept of its predecessors for calibers 5.56 and 7.62, with the main difference being the expansion of the capacity for one charge. Thanks to the drum design, fifty cartridges can easily fit inside, without the magazine having to be too long or the weapon too unwieldy with it.

Easy charging

This magazine is also very easy to charge thanks to the integrated ratcheting charging lever, which relieves the tension of the internal spring. And there are several options for checking the remaining number of shots, including a rear window with an indication of missing cartridges or a roller indicating capacity.

Bolt lock function

The Magpul PMAG D-50 GL9 magazine is equipped with a unique bolt lock function that locks the bolt after the magazine is emptied. It works on guns that are designed to lock back onto Glock-style magazine followers when unloaded.

Adjusting the magazine release

Before installing the Magpul PMAG D-50 GL9 magazine, it is recommended to install a new OEM version of the magazine release specifically for Glock Gen1-3 pistols. This way, the gun will deal with the increased weight of the magazine. Glock Gen4-5 handguns will need a metal magazine release from third party manufacturers. It is also recommended to install a new recoil spring assembly to ensure reliable ammunition feed.

Not compatible with PCC

It is generally not recommended to combine this magazine with pistol caliber carbines (PCCs) as the increased length of the feed tower will be unsupported by most magazine wells of these weapons. Some parts can wear out prematurely in this way, causing the weapon to fail. For these purposes, it is recommended to use the Magpul PMAG D-50 GL9 – PCC magazine.
