The operation of the VAR II gas cooker is ensured by the use of a propane-butane cartridge. The cooker is fully compatible with VAR cartridges. It is recommended to use cartridge designed for this cooker, for example CGV 220. If you decide to use another brand, make sure the cartridge - cooker system is tight. To connect the cooker with the gas cartridge serves this reduction. When using the windshield (VAR stabilizer), it is necessary to use the VAR CGV 425 cartridge. The windshield is used during mountain climbing ascents. The cooker provides surface heating of the container and is therefore suitable for preparing food.
Before connecting the cooker to the cartridge, see the perfect state of the "O" ring. If this part appears to be worn with use, replace it.
