New material 

Carinthia MiG 4.0 (Medium Insulation Garment) is the latest version of the insulated winter Jacket, which was created in collaboration with uniform units officers. All modifications are focused on optimizing proven solutions compared to the previous generation. The main is the use of a completely new external material. Its special IR CAMO design, combined with properly treated seams, reduces infrared radiation and makes it difficult to detect the user by night vision devices.

Sophisticated design

The jacket has a well thought out anatomical cut that does not limit movement and allows use in the most demanding conditions. The high collar protects against wind and cold, and for a comfortable feel when wearing,it is from the inner side lined with gentle fleece. It connects to spacious hood, which adjusting is done using two elastic draw cords. In the armpits you will find zippered ventilation holes that allow excess heat to be removed while walking or climbing. In areas exposed to abrasion, ie on elbows and shoulders, the Cordura reinforcement is used. The ends of the sleeves are equipped with an adjustable velcro cuffs. Also, the bottom hem can be individually adjusted using a drawstring. The central, two-way front zipper is supplemented with chin protection.

Plenty of pockets for everything needed

The jacket has seven functional pockets that allow you to comfortably wear basic equipment. The largest ones have a pleasantly warm fleece lining. The latest generation of this jacket uses high-quality YKK zippers. The ones that are on the outside have special hems against wind and moisture. You can place patches or other ID markings on several Velcro panels. The jacket comes with the compression bag, in which can be easily packed and placed in the backpack.

The winter doesn´t stand a chance 

The manufacturer determined the lower limit of the comfortable temperature at -15 ° C, which classifies MIG 4.0 as a typical winter jacket. With the use of modern materials such as Gore-Tex Windstopper and a warm G-LOFT insulation, the jacket provides great protection against frost, wind and water. The carefully arranged synthetic insulation is lightweight, insulates very well and retains its properties even when wet. The amount and organization of the G-loft insulation of all jackets from Series 4.0 was designed using the innovative mapping system of the human body called Carinthia ISO Mapping Technology. Based on the measurements and two types of G-LOFT insulation (CI and STI), an extremely compact jacket was created, which can effectively protect against cold.
