If you're not sure if the water you find outdoors is safe to drink (or you're sure it's not), then you can use the versatile 28mm HydraPak Water Filter, which threads directly onto HydraPak bottles with a 28mm opening.
The advantage is that the filter is installed on any HydraPak hydration bags and closures with the Plug-N-Play connection system. Versatile connectivity makes the HydraPak filter the perfect solution for field water treatment. No matter if you are filtering water from a Stow bottle into another bottle or doing gravity filtration from a Seeker or Pioneer water bag.
You can easily thread the filter onto some of the popular HydraPak bottles on the market, such as the 500 ml and 1 l HydraPak Stow or the 1 l Smart Water Bottle. The package includes the filter itself, the cap adapter and the backwash adapter.
This filter effectively removes common bacteria that spread in the water environment. These include E. coli bacteria, parasitic cysts and even microplastics. It is also effective against protozoa, meeting or exceeding the EPA protocol in all cases. Filtration takes place at a rate exceeding 1 l per minute and the filter life span exceeds 1500 l.
