In 2019, the company HS Produkt presented (under the patronage of Springfield Armory for the American market) a micro-compact pistol with a polymer frame called H11, laying the foundation for a successful range of everyday carry pistols. The HS Produkt H11 pistols became one of the first true competitors to the P365 model from SIG.
In 2022, the design of the weapon was upgraded. It was equipped with a larger capacity magazine, and the slide was modified for the possibility of mounting pistol optics. This improved range of H11 pistols got the suffix PRO.
The HS Produkt H11 pistol (under the patronage of Springfield Armory named Hellcat) was declared the pistol of the year 2020 by Guns & Ammo magazine and also received the NASGW-POMA award for the best new pistol of 2020.
The slide and barrel of the HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp pistol have an integrated single-port compensator, which reduces recoil and lift.
The semi-automatic pistol HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp is a larger version of the popular micro-compact HS Produkt H11 pistol. The PRO variant is therefore suitable for shooters with larger hands for whom the classic H11 variant does not fit due to its small dimensions. The semi-automatic HS PRO RDR Comp pistol is incredibly lightweight due to its sub-compact dimensions. You will hardly notice it during all-day carry. At the same time, thanks to the double-stack magazine with increased capacity, it provides sufficient firepower to handle a potential crisis situation.
The HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp pistol is equipped with an innovative system for switching the magazine catch button. The weapon is thus comfortable to handle for both right and left-handers.
To aim the HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp pistol more easily and quickly, you can equip it with a compatible optic for Shield RMS mount. Mounting the optic does not require any mounting plates. Simply remove the cover and install the optic easily.
The semi-automatic pistol HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp has a frame with a mounting rail, rounded trigger guard and pronounced beavertail. This, along with excellent ergonomics, significantly increases weapon control during shooting. The slide of the pistol has aggressive serrations in both the front and rear for more secure and safer handling when racking.
The pistol uses a striker-fired design and is equipped with two safeties. A trigger safety and a striker block. The HS Produkt H11 PRO RDR Comp pistol also features a loaded chamber indicator for even higher safety.
The company was founded as IM Metal in 1991 in Croatia. At the beginning of 2001, after the success of the HS2000 pistols on the global market, the company changed its name to HS Produkt. In 2007, HS Produkt started collaborating with Springfield Armory. Thanks to this strategic collaboration, the company quickly became the largest importer of handguns to the American market.
The founders and co-owners of HS Produkt, Ivan Žabčić and Marko Vuković, are mechanical engineers. Vuković is the principal designer of most of the weapons. He also has combat experience as a veteran of the Croatian War of Independence, where he was injured twice. HS Produkt was one of the competitors in 2016 for the replacement of FAMAS rifles in the French army.
