The portfolio of tactical and survival equipment from the Polish manufacturer Helikon-Tex also includes navigation devices such as compasses. These include the Ranger MK2 model, which is a classic lensatic (prismatic) compass - because what's more reliable than good old optics and mechanics?
Helikon-Tex says of its Ranger MK2 compass that it is one of the most classic compasses, while also being "almost bombproof". In addition to the processing, the round aluminum construction is also classic, which is light and at the same time above average durable. For even greater reliability, the compass is filled with liquid.
There is a 1:25,000 map scale on the side of the compass to help you read the map. The compass is also equipped with angular and thousandth scales. A luminous card will also certainly please you, which will facilitate navigation at night and in poor light conditions.
