Cerakote™ is a branch of NIC Industries, Inc., which was founded in 1984 with the sole aim from the beginning – to design, develop, and produce the best and longest-lasting ceramic surface existing anywhere in the world. To this day, Cerakote™ is behind more than 90 ceramic colors and surfaces, which are used by far the most by firearm manufacturers, which of course and logically makes Cerakote™ the absolute leader in this industry.

In terms of Cerakote™'s physical location, together with its other division (NIC's Prismatic Powders® Division), it is located in the USA in White City, Oregon. All other workshops (manufacturing, ASTM testing, training center, research and development, ...) are also located there.
Given the local volume of firearms, the most famous division in the USA is logically the one dedicated to firearms (it is "Cerakote® Ceramic Firearm Coatings"), but this certainly in no way diminishes the professionalism and experience of the other divisions...
The company NIC is divided into four additional sub-companies:

To say it's merely an incredibly monitored process would be an understatement. There really isn't a single product that isn't constantly tested (meaning with every change and local modification). Most similar manufacturers test randomly or only use some of the tests, but at Cerakote®, they are literally proud that local rigorous tests run in complete series and on every product of a particular series.
All orders are therefore only sent when the items meet their high standards. Cerakote® is simply proud that their customers receive only the best, which is ultimately an understandable situation – when someone is the best in the market, they must have standards (and logically also quality) set very high!
