The technology works with a small amount of silver salt (silver chloride). This substance is commonly found in nature – we can find it, for example, in water and soil. A small amount of this substance is then applied to the fabric's surface, resulting in effective odor protection. This treatment takes place during the finishing phase of fabric processing, alongside other treatments. Additionally, the technology works long-term – you will not find yourself wearing an item for the third time and starting to notice an unpleasant smell.
This treatment does not have a negative impact on the skin surface – it does not destroy naturally occurring bacteria on the skin surface. It's also worth mentioning that before the technology began to be used, extensive testing was conducted. The technology is, of course, certified – it includes certifications such as BPR, REACH, and bluesign®.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, the manufacturers also considered the environment. Thanks to the treatment, it is possible to wash clothing at lower temperatures, and the clothing does not require frequent washing. This leads to water and energy savings. Moreover, products treated with this method can be recycled. We must also mention the fact that this technology extends the lifespan of the garments.
