Camouflage pattern - Original A-TACS iX Camo™

In 2016, A-TACS Camo embarked on a new direction with an entirely new multi-phase concept. It was labeled as the "iX Line," and this new cover methodology and solution was designed to provide its users with the most comprehensive and complete protection in the broadest range of common environments.

The concept (pictured above) revolved around a subtle transition between two camouflage patterns. Revolutionary, however, in that it would simultaneously contain both green elements of foliage and brown elements of earth, allowing the wearer to blend into an even wider range of environments.

The supporting patterns in this matter have proven to be tried and tested (and expanded + redesigned) versions of A-TACS AU Camo™ and A-TACS FG Camo™ camouflage patterns. Both already share some similar colors and philosophies, so when paired with the other, the result is unexpectedly good, even incredible and excellent – it can even be said that as far as the deployment of the A-TACS iX Camo™ pattern goes, it can be used anywhere in the temperate zone of the world.

An operator can thus acquire this single set in transit camouflage patterns and use it according to the needs of a specific place. Traditional camouflage patterns A-TACS AU Camo™ and A-TACS FG Camo™ can also be reached for, but usually today there is no need when there is an advanced version.

The A-TACS iX Camo™ pattern is, in short, the only pattern with infinite adaptability.

What did the arrival of the new generation at A-TACS Camo bring?

The camouflage pattern A-TACS iX [Intermediate Xtreme] Camo™ comes from 2016 and is the first of the new generation (and philosophy) of the A-TACS Camo section. The new A-TACS iX Camo™ pattern is and will continue to be the company's flagship. And without exaggeration, it will be a "multi-environment" type, which is a universal solution for individual camouflage, whether anywhere in the temperate zone (i.e., in non-desert and non-ice areas).

As befits a camouflage pattern of such importance, A-TACS iX Camo™ is also made using the most modern technologies, enabling truly perfect blending of colors and both patterns. Compared to the already quite popular A-TACS AU Camo™ and A-TACS FG Camo™ patterns, this pattern has significantly better depth, drawing, and definition.

The A-TACS iX Camo™ pattern also actively uses enhanced and improved details at the edges in the transition areas between light and shadow in one pattern, adding to the illusion of depth. Furthermore, it still maintains the traditional A-TACS Camo philosophy of "pattern within a pattern."

The new A-TACS iX Camo™ pattern is certainly by far the best in transition areas with a uniform measure of both green and brown colors.
