The CZ 457 small-caliber rifle in the Syntethic variant is intended for adverse climatic conditions. As the name already suggests, the stock of the weapon is not wooden this time, but plastic – specifically, it uses an extremely strong polymer with a soft-touch coating. This time we bring you a special variant of the weapon with a riflescope in the set.

Durability in more demanding climatic conditions for this small-caliber rifle means not only a stock made of highly resistant polymer, but also an extremely resistant anti-corrosion surface treatment of metal parts. This small-caliber rifle will not let you down even in bad weather.

For both right-handed and left-handed

The design of the stock of the CZ 457 Synthetic model is the same as that of the CZ 557 series rifles. The ergonomics of the stock ensure comfortable holding of the weapon by both right-handed and left-handed users. This model has a significant reduction in weight – the weapon with an empty polymer magazine for five rounds weighs only 2.4 kg.

Maximum security

The safety features of this small-caliber rifle include a positive safety on the right side of the bedding or a separate bolt control, which ensure maximum safety when handling weapons of the CZ 457 series. The silent, positive safety contributes to safe and comfortable handling of the weapon. Among other things, the aforementioned controller enables easy disassembly of the weapon during cleaning.

Additional safety features

However, this is not all of the safety features of this weapon. Furthermore, it is necessary to be able to open the bolt even when the safety device is engaged, so that the condition of the weapon can be safely checked at any time or it can be discharged without the need to unlock it. The cocked firing mechanism of the weapon is then reliably detected by a striker status indicator. This can be checked visually and by touch.

Adjustable trigger mechanism

The adjustable trigger mechanism will satisfy the individual needs of the shooter. The trigger resistance is factory preset to 12 N, but it can be adjusted in the range of 8 – 15 N. The trigger stroke is adjustable in the range of 0.5 – 5 mm.

Lightweight striker

Compared to the previous model, the striker is lighter by a very respectable 38%. Thanks to this modification, the weapon is spared even the smallest vibrations that could affect the accuracy of your shooting. The durability of the striker during dry training is a matter of course.

A new type of bedding

The fixing of the mechanism in the stock is improved by a new type of bedding. This significantly contributes to its long-term accuracy and stability. To a large extent, it eliminates the influence of the expansion of wood as a material under different temperature conditions on the accuracy and accuracy of the weapon. This way it will remain shot for a longer time and will allow you to get a really precise shot.

Shortened stroke of bolt rotation

Convenient, smooth and quick reloading of the weapon guarantees the user a 60º shortened movement of the bolt. In combination with the mounted optics, you will be able to handle the weapon promptly in any situation. Other advantages of the CZ 457 range of weapons include replaceable stocks with a wide range of shapes and materials with a high emphasis on ergonomics and shooting comfort.

Easy barrel change

In the case of small-caliber rifles from the CZ 457 family, the modular system has been improved so that it is possible to use different calibers from the previous CZ 455 model series, as well as to exchange them using minisets. You can easily adapt the weapon to your needs.

In a set with a scope

That being said, this model in this case comes in a set with a riflescope that was developed specifically for this series of small calibers. It is a 3-9×42 spotting scope on a two-piece assembly made of durable aircraft-grade duralumin, boresighted at 50 meters. Reliability of boresight retention was tested on CZ 557 series rifles.
