Amazonas StarSet has expansion rods and is made of special Elltex material.

Elltex (=ExtraLongLastingTEXtile) is a specially designed fabric with an extra-long life. It is a special blend of cotton and polyester that is very weatherproof.Its colours pale only very slowly and it does not lose its resistance to tearing even when repeatedly soaked.So Hamaka can hang outside, whether it's raining or the sun is hot, as it's also UV-resistant.The surface of the fabric is as comfortable to the touch as pure cotton.

Ecology

Amazonas' coloured hammocks are made from cotton pieces left over from textile manufacturing.This is an environmentally friendly practice.Fewer fields of cotton, that's also less pesticide and also more water for our planet.

Amazon is participating in the SAVE THE NATURE project - the wood used to make the products comes from sustainable European state forests.These forests are managed according to criteria and meet certification systems FSC (=Forest Stewardship Council).

The frame is handmade, is very stable and secure thanks to the quality of the layered spruce wood used.It is supplied with all connecting material.

Hamaka is supplied in a practical shipping container of the same color with a drawstring.
