CLAWGEAR® Light Stick

Chemical lights are used as an alternate source of light.

You can use them for fishing, outdoor activities and also airsoft or paintball. They are often used for navigation or to keep everybody in sight on difficult night hikes.

Chemical lights usually come in the form of a light stick, it is basically a see-through plastic tube with a liquid inside, in the liquid floats a capsule with another solution.

To activate the chemical processes, bend the stick to break the capsule inside, shake well to mix the solutions, light stick will then start to glow in the respective colour and intensity. The glow is a result of chemical luminescence - no heat, flames or sparks, no batteries.

Lights sticks are sturdy, glow in the rain, under water and have no batteries to run out.

This chemical light is harmless, non-flammable, non-explosive and non-toxic.

Chemical lights, not only in this form, are typically used by the law enforcement, fire brigade, rescue as well as military.

They are great in emergency situations, for camping, fishing, scuba diving, they have also become popular for parties and celebrations (Halloween, birthdays, New Year's ...).
