Hultafors OK4 is a durable knife ready to perform even very demanding tasks during your stay in nature. The strong Japanese steel blade, anti-slip handle and holder with fire steel make it an indispensable partner for every woodsman and outdoor enthusiast.
The knife blade is made of Japanese carbon steel with a hardness of 58-60HRC and has an electrophoretic layer (EPD) to increase corrosion protection. The blade has a typical Scandinavian grind, which guarantees excellent sharpness and thanks to the smaller grinding angle, it also has greater resistance to damage. With this model, you don't even have to worry about splitting logs or chips, during which you can help with strikes to the back of the blade. Thanks to the thickness of 3 mm, it is sufficiently durable even for such activities. The grinded spine of the blade is specially adapted for starting a fire using a fire starter, which is part of the knife. The fire starter is housed in a flexible loop on the side of the holster for easy pulling out and holding. So you always have the means to start a fire or ignite a gas stove. The hardened plastic holster sufficiently protects the knife and its construction prevents it from falling out even during active movement. The anatomically shaped handle is made of very durable plastic and is provided with an anti-slip layer of Santopren polymer. As a bonus, a scale is engraved on the blackened blade, which can be useful, for example, when determining the distance on the map.
