The Agilite BuddyStrap is an innovative tactical solution that allows you to carry a wounded person in a crisis situation without having to use your hands - you can still hold the weapon and defend yourself against the enemy.
The Israeli manufacturer originally developed its BuddyStrap rescue harness for first-level special forces units that ventured deep into enemy territory in small teams and could not afford to carry bulky rescue equipment.
However, the BuddyStrap tactical rescue harness immediately found many civilian uses. For example, this is about the only effective way to independently transport an injured tourist, a person with limited mobility or a large child in the field.
A solution like the BuddyStrap should be part of every responsible outdoorsman's plan. This is an effective way to carry an injured friend or family member to safety without help. It thus becomes an essential part of every medical equipment or tourist backpack.
The BuddyStrap is more effective than traditional medevac equipment, as it disables approximately two to four weapons when used tactically. The so-called "fireman's carry" removes one weapon from combat. But no BuddyStrap. With the BuddyStrap, you can carry an injured person while still being operational in combat.
The BuddyStrap rescue harness can serve as a great addition to the field first aid kit, where after basic treatment and first aid you can carry your injured friend to safety, either from the battle lines or from an area outside of civilization. In cases where you don't have a first aid kit with you, the BuddyStrap can also function as an alternative.
