This set of sights was designed for Glock MOS pistols so that the front sight and the rear sight remain intact even when a reflex sight is mounted on the weapon. This sight set is 1/5 co-witness.

Always hits the target

The front sight from the Taran Tactical MOS Standard sight set for Glock pistols has a height of 0.210" and a width of 0.124". The rear sight is 0.240" high, with a notch size of 0.125". These sight dimensions ensure perfect point of impact with Glock 17, 17L, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 34 and 35 pistols and significantly aid in shooting at small targets and longer distances. The sight set is designed for Glock pistols with double-row magazines.

Differences in point of impact

The Glock sights from Taran Tactical, MOS Standard have the point of aim/point of impact set at 13.7 meters for full-size Glock pistols using 124-grain ammunition. If you install these sights on a different size Glock pistol (compact, sub-compact, etc.), then the point of aim/point of impact will change due to the altered ratio between the front sight and the rear sight. For this reason, it is necessary to properly test this setup and determine the point of aim/point of impact for your firearm and remember it. It is also essential to consider the type of ammunition, type of gunpowder and bullet weight you are using. These are all factors that influence the bullet's trajectory.

Designed by Taran and Vogel

The Glock sights from Taran Tactical, MOS Standard were designed according to the specifications of Taran Butler and Robert Vogel, who aimed to achieve the optimal sight picture and the clearest point of the fiber optic front sight. Taran and Vogel relocated the fiber optic to the very top of the front sight. They arrived at this solution because some shooters are distracted by the strong black area between the fiber optic and the top of the front sight, causing them to overshoot or undershoot the target.

High visibility front sight

The fiber optic in the front sight is not recessed into the body of the front sight as with solutions from other manufacturers. As a result, the fiber optic gathers more light, and the front sight dot is brighter. The front sight features a mounting screw in stainless steel with a shiny head, reflecting even more light directly into the center of the fiber optic.

The Taran brand always offers something extra

As a bonus, the front sight is designed to be compatible with the factory mounting screw of Glock, in case the original front sight screw is lost. The front edge of the rear sight allows emergency slide racking with one hand, using a belt, the edge of a shoe sole or another object.

Indestructible sights

The serrations on the rear sight reduce glare. The front and rear sights are machined from stainless steel with a Diamond Black Ion Bond finish (hardness 95 Rockwell), ensuring the highest level of corrosion resistance and the most durable surface finish.
