Real Avid® Smart-Jaws™ / Tube-Fit™ holder for Master Gun Vise

The two-piece Smart-Jaws Tube-Fit holder for a vise from the American company Real Avid expands the capabilities of the Master Gun Vise gunsmith's vise from the same manufacturer. These are basically some kind of vise clamp sleeves that make it easier to work with guns and in this case, make it easier to clamp cylindrical objects of different diameters.

Double solution

You just slide the Smart-Jaws sleeves onto the existing clamps of the vise, either on one side or the other. Each of the sides has a surface that is suitable for attaching other objects. The first has rubberized V-shaped surfaces made of a material that does not degrade with use, is resistant to heat and has a long life. Elements susceptible to damage, such as rifle scopes, can be attached to these surfaces. Conversely, steel holders, on the other hand, enable the attachment of not so sensitive objects.
