PENTAGON® Magnesium lighter

This is a classic block of magnesium (lighter) with integrated flint on the side (darker). A hammer knife is a supplied attached to the block with a ball chain.We remove the knife by unbuckling the chain, scraping the necessary amount of magnesium with it, and igniting the magnesium by cutting on the side quartz stone.If possible, scratch the magnesium on a dry surface and, after ignition, apply splinters, for example, and then gradually add larger pieces of wood.The flint emits sparks even in humidity and raw conditions, and the magnesium itself is very flammable, ignition is so always reliable and immediate.The ensemble has compact enough dimensions to be carried in a pocket, in an EDC bag or small backpack and, of course, in a survival kit.
