Mini Crock Stick is a compact,lightweight and versatile sharpener with key chain for sharpening knives and fish hooks. It has two removable ceramic rods, that are positioned for easy cleaning. Sharpening angles are pre-set at 22,5° to achieve 45°angle.

Instructions for use

Step 1 - place a sharpener on a solid,flat surface at comfortable height

Step 2 - make sure the sharpening rods are securely held by clips

Step 3 - hold the base firmly, but keep the fingers and hand away from the blade

Step 4 - hold the blade straight up and down as you were going to slice a bread. Place the heel of the blade below the top end of the rods. As you come down the rod, slice down and across the rod drawing towards you, keeping 90°angle.

Step 5 - repeat on the opposite rod with the opposite edge of the blade.

Same use for both right and left-handers

Sharpening pointed objects

For sharpening fish hooks, darts or other pointed objects place the rods in the provided groove and manually held/pull side by side.

Note: Read the instructions before use. Do not rush and pay attention to what you do.
Knife sharpening is an inherently dangerous activity - if you use this sharpener properly you can not be hurt but a careless handling can hurt you.

Cleaning instructions: Over the time the black lines are steel from your blade, which reduce effciency. When that happens, turn the rods to expose unused surfaces. When the rods are completely black, clean them with Lansky Eraser Block or kitchen cleanser.

Caution: The rods are solid and durable, but because they are ceramic they can brake when fall on a hard surface. Therefore handle them with care.
