With its durable Daka Hard Case C35, the American company Magpul originally decided to fill a gap in the market. Above all, it wanted to provide shooters with a stronger and more reliable transport and storage system for weapons, which would also be easier to use. And thanks to the Daka Hard Case series, it succeeded in doing so.
Combined with the unique Daka Grid Organizer, the Daka Hard Case is a superior storage solution, optimized for storing shooting equipment. The case's advanced features include improved latches, recessed lock covers, ergonomic handles and reliable wheels. The case is easy to carry and handle and contains a lot of usable storage space.
Designers have simplified the Magpul Daka Hard Case C35 to avoid potential snagging points, that could lead to damage to the case, as much as possible. In addition, the case can slide smoothly on most surfaces during transport.
The Daka Hard Case C35 revolves around the adjustable Daka Grid Organizer, which in this case accommodates shorter rifles including accessories. The advantage of the organizer compared to traditional foam inserts is the fact that moisture and dirt do not stick to it, as well as higher strength and at the same time lower weight.
The Daka Grid organizer provides the user with almost infinite customizability. It consists of expanded polypropylene (EPP) end panels, center panels and blocks. They slide into each other and thus create partitions between the individual sections of the case. The individual elements of the equipment will not damage each other. You can insert and remove individual blocks into the panels just as easily.
Specifically, 16 blocks are included with the R44 case, of which 8 are triple and 8 are double. You can customize the equipment inside. And if that's not enough, you can simply buy additional blocks. For wider or higher equipment, you can also adjust the size of the blocks or remove the center panel. EPP is a material that cuts smoothly and does not crack.
The ergonomic details of this case include rounded double-walled corners, which are not only a kind of additional buffer zone protecting the equipment inside, but also a space that can fit other small items that might otherwise "travel" in the luggage.
The case contains a seal that is weather and water resistant. The self-balancing pressure control comes in handy, for example, when transporting the case by plane. The case was manufactured using injection molding technology, which ensures its higher strength. It is also resistant to falling, so you don't have to worry about traveling with it even in more demanding conditions.
The case latches are also practical – each of them is equipped with a button control that can be easily manipulated with just one hand. Once opened, the latch remains in the open position and can be used as a handle to open the case lid. Each latch is additionally equipped with a padlock loop (the padlock is not included in the package). Pockets for locks and zippered grommets prevent mutual damage to the Hard Case and locks.
If you have more of the same Hard Cases, you can easily stack them thanks to the nested protrusions. Two integrated recesses then prevent the Velcro straps from moving during transport. When carrying, you will appreciate the two large main handles as well as the third integrated handle near the wheels of the case. Higher ergonomics are provided by the cross-sections of the handles, taken from Magpul pistol grips.
Just as well thought out as the rest of the Hard Case are its wheels, which are equipped with ball bearings, a rubber layer on the surface and reinforced polymer hubs. Thanks to all this, the wheels have a long service life and at the same time a reduced noise level.
