The pin-up girl motif was taken from American culture of the mid-20th century. Pictures of beautiful and often scantily clad girls filled the lockers of US Army soldiers during World War II. On this particular patch, the girl is holding an AT-4 anti-tank launcher on her shoulder, and her body is covered with thematic tattoos symbolizing combativeness and determination.
