M-Tac® Sturm plate carrier

The Sturm Plate Carrier by M-Tac has already proven itself in a war environment. It is an innovative piece of equipment, originally developed by M-Tac designers for the Ukrainian army. However, the offered version differs slightly from the earlier one.

Cummerbund included

The M-Tac Sturm plate carrier in this version includes a cummerbund with 2M ROC quick-release buckles. Thanks to these, you can easily and quickly remove and discard the plate carrier. The use of the plate carrier is therefore very flexible.

Compatible with ESAPI

The M-Tac Sturm plate carrier is compatible with standard American ESAPI plate sizes. Specifically, medium (31.8 × 24.1cm), large (33.7 × 26cm), and extra-large (35.5 × 28cm) sizes. An elastic band and special straps inside allow the plate carrier to be adjusted so that the plates do not "fly" inside it.

High-quality material

As it is a tactical equipment, the manufacturer naturally had to use high-quality material. In this case, it is Cordura 500D, which is resistant to high loads and abrasions. On the integrated cummerbund, there is a MOLLE system with four rows for attaching additional gear. MOLLE-compatible gear can, of course, also be attached to the laser-cut webbing on the front and back panels.

Maximum protection area

M-Tac developed its Sturm plate carrier to provide the maximum possible protection area against shrapnel in conjunction with compatible plates. The plate carrier can be supplemented with pre-set M-Tac ballistic protection packages or size-compatible ballistic protection from other manufacturers. It is truly an advanced modular system for the modern warrior.

Special document pocket

At the top front of the M-Tac Sturm plate carrier is a small pocket, closed with a water-resistant Aquaguard zipper from the Japanese brand YKK. This special pocket is ideal for storing documents such as IDs and firearms licenses. This pocket also has a separate MOLLE webbing and additionally a Velcro panel for attaching various patches and morale patches.

Back panel with MOLLE

As we have mentioned, a MOLLE interface is also located on the back panel of the plate carrier. In addition, there is an evacuation loop, specially reinforced and strengthened with additional elements added based on soldiers' feedback. Also worth mentioning are the three-dimensional mesh inserts on the chest and back, making this plate carrier very comfortable for its wearer.
