The Storm Gen.II Nyco Extreme blouse from M-Tac was designed in a modern style and simultaneously to form a uniform together with the trousers of the same name. The manufacturer chose high-quality materials for it.
Because this blouse is also intended for combat conditions, durability was a primary consideration during its development. This is ensured by Nyco Extreme material from the American company Brookwood, which combines cotton with nylon. Compared to the originally developed Nyco fabric, the Extreme variant is 3× more tear-resistant and 10× more breathable. Additionally, it dries significantly faster.
The second generation of the blouse naturally brings some changes, including updated sleeve pocket closures. These now feature vertical entries for easier access to their contents. The entries to these pockets are also reinforced with Cordura, making them even more tear-resistant. Additional pockets are located on the chest and close with a flap secured by Velcro.
Velcro was also used in other areas – besides the Velcro panels on the chest and arms for various ID patches, there's also Velcro for adjusting the cuffs on the sleeves or the flap on the main zipper, which is again secured by Velcro. On it, there's an integrated special panel (again with Velcro) for attaching glasses.
The loosely cut blouse also features small pockets on the left sleeve, which can be used to carry writing tools or chemical lights. And the quality zipper used is from the Japanese brand YKK.
