Lansky® Double Sharpening Diam Paddle - Medium/Fine

Sharpening paddle easily folds into the ergonomic nylon handle, that protects and makes carry easier. Double sided diamond paddle with grit 280 (coarse) on one side and 600 (medium) on the other. The padddle sharpens various knives and tools. The diamond is, as we know, the highest on the scale of mineral hardness and that is why it is the ideal abrasive for fast reconditioning and maintenance of all tools and knives. Diamond Paddle is therefore ideal to every workshop. 

Instructions for use 

Step 1 - begin by opening both plastic handles 

Step 2 - hold the handles firmly in one hand and the knife in the other 

Step 3 - draw the knife edge down the paddle at the proper angle (as if you were attempting to slice a thin layer off the top of the paddle. Use light moderate pressure and maintain a consistent angle for best results. 

Step 4 - repeat motion 3 - 4 times, switch to the other side and repeat until the blade is is sharp. 

Warning: Never apply oil to diamond surface as it could clogged it´s pores and become unfunctional. Clean it with water instead and wipe shavings away with lint-free cloth.The sharpener should be completely dry before next usage.
