Preparing this coffee is very simple. Just twist off the cap, open the pouch and shape it into the desired form, ready for pouring water. Then pour 250 to 350ml of water and close the zipper. Let it steep for 4 to 6 minutes depending on the desired strength of the coffee. After that, you can serve and enjoy two cups of excellent coffee.
The Cocafcal Cooperative is located in western Honduras, on the edge of the Celaque National Park. The cooperative operates in 12 municipalities – in the areas of San Pedro, Copan and Corquin. Each coffee is roasted in a micro-roastery following the principles of slow roasting. The Cocafcal Cooperative was founded in 1999 with a total of 55 members. Currently, they run projects benefiting approximately 2,500 people. Sustainability is a key word for active members of the cooperative, all dedicated to growing conventionally sustainable, organic and fairtrade coffee.
