What will be the biggest challenges people will face in the desert?

The answer to this question will not be too complicated: first and foremost, it will be the heat/humidity, sand, and dust. But if that were all, you would only need shoes without a functional membrane for the desert, as they would fit perfectly here (combat boots with ventilation holes and textile mesh for maximum breathability).

However, the above-mentioned option has one problem – it also allows sand to get into your shoes, and since it is abrasive, when it gets on your foot, it starts causing damage (blisters, abrasions, and other skin damage that can easily become inflamed). This understandably strongly affects a soldier's ability to focus and concentrate (not to mention comfortable rest – just like with mosquito nets and mosquitoes elsewhere, it cannot be underestimated).

Desert areas require combat boots that integrate not only extreme breathability but also provide persistent protection and lose heat as quickly as possible.
