Camouflage pattern Ulena SR digi forest (Slovakia)

Regarding the camouflage patterns of both our countries, the Socialist Republic of Czechoslovakia split into the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic on January 1, 1993. When both countries were still together, two new camouflage patterns were considered for the then Czechoslovak armed forces: vz 85 (1985 camouflage pattern) Leaf (later camouflage pattern vz. 95 "leaf") and a duo of camouflage patterns suitable for the desert. Both were later adopted by both the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, but Slovakia rejected them merely two years after gaining independence (and thus their own military forces) and instead adopted a type with a forest pattern (somewhat similar to the American US m81 camouflage pattern).

Camouflage pattern Ulena SR digi forest (Slovakia)

The camouflage pattern Ulena SR digi forest (Slovakia) appeared in this country's equipment in 2007 and includes the colors brown, dark green, and khaki green, all on an olive background. Officially it is called "vz 2007 Forest," but unofficially it is called "Kocky" (Blocks).

Use by the military: Logically, it is used exclusively by Slovakia, but as is common today, it appears on numerous items intended for outdoor use in all their forms. Although the camouflage pattern Ulena SR digi forest (Slovakia) / "vz 2007 Forest" first appeared as a forest variant, in the same year, it was almost immediately followed by a desert variant: "vz 2007 Desert" (Desert).
