Together with the introduction of the Vegetato camouflage pattern in the Italian army in 2004, a desert/dry region version called "mimetico Vegetata deserto" also appeared. It is also a camouflage with irregular color spots. Now it includes the colors: chocolate brown, ochre, and light cream shades. All of this on a sand-beige background. It is now the official desert camouflage of the Italian army. The individual versions always vary slightly depending on the specific manufacturer and the quality of its printer.
Deployment State: This is a camouflage pattern used exclusively by Italy, so everything around it is logically, of course, mainly local variants.
