Clarino®

The CLARINO material was first produced in the early sixties as an imitation of real leather, both in touch and quality. This was achieved by using unique synthetic fibers that do not contain any harmful substances and, in many aspects, are of higher quality than leather. The material is breathable, easy to maintain, and incredibly soft on human skin.

The difference between this material and natural leather is primarily that clarino, even when wet or just damp, does not lose the properties it has in its dry state. Specifically, when it comes to softness. The softness and flexibility of the material come from the structure of special fibers from non-woven fabric, i.e., from a fine fiber structure and small cavities. Clarino material is commonly used in gloves, footwear, handbags, and other products. The company Kuraray, based in Japan and responsible for the production of this material, also supplies two other versions that simulate suede and grain leather. The development in this area is already so impressive that with some of its properties, Clarino can even surpass real natural leather.
