SABRE Crossfire Technology is exclusive to the SABRE product line and is designed so that your pepper spray can be used in the most extreme positions (attackers rarely behave ideally, blocking streams with hands, etc.). The best is the third generation, which allows spraying at any angle. It is available in "foam" and "gel" types of products.
It will be more visible from this graphic, imagine that the wheels below are your head. Then
yellow naturally indicates the angles in which the given SABRE product is usable and white for when it fails. Without further ado, here are all three generations side by side:
As we can see, the first generation of SABRE Crossfire works only within a 120° range from above. Not at all from below. The second generation of SABRE Crossfire manages the same as the first and additionally adds another 120° from below. Only the third generation of SABRE Crossfire really brings it to perfection – it can spray in any way and in any position, which is sometimes necessary in real confrontations.
Some of the most popular pepper sprays today are gel and foam versions. The question is, how do they differ?
What can you expect from all products in the SABRE Crossfire line?
The first generation works only if held approximately in a horizontal position:
However, if you turn the spray upside down, it will briefly release what's directly in the spray, and then only air will escape.
This logically causes the spray to have a range of only a few centimeters after returning to the front position.
The second generation works the same – when you have it in the front position...
...and works the same from below, but only in half-second intervals.
The second generation can also be returned from the bottom back to the front position and will still work.
The third generation SABRE Crossfire is the most advanced product available on the market from this brand (and will definitely remain so for a long time). In short, this container sprays in any position you have your finger and container in (minimizing the chance that the targeted subject will block it with hands, dodge, etc.).
They even work in directions directly up and directly down (90°)!
