How does the Gore-Tex® Surround™ Side Sole Openings technology work?

Any excess moisture and heat generated here is guided upwards through the upper part of the shoe and is also conducted downwards through the Gore-Tex® laminate into a ventilation mesh. From there, it is just one step to the large ventilation system located on the sides of the shoe soles, from which everything escapes and evaporates.
